By accepting a charity place from the Trussell Trust I agree that:

Participation
1. I will inform the Trussell Trust Events Team immediately if I am unable to take part in the event [and, where permitted, take all necessary steps to transfer my place to another person who wishes to take part in support of the Trussell Trust].

2. I understand that this event is organised by the event organiser who is solely responsible for the conduct and operation of the event, including all health and safety requirements. Please see the event organiser's terms and conditions or contact the event organiser directly for more information about the event and the potential risks involved.

3. The Trussell Trust is not responsible for the event and accepts no liability whatsoever in relation to your participation in it.

4. We will upload your name and email address to the portal of the Event organisers who will contact you to confirm your personal information to facilitate your participation in the event. From time to time, we may contact you by telephone and post about Edinburgh Marathon 2025, to keep you updated on our work and ways you can help. You can change the way you hear from us at any time by emailing us at supportercare@trusselltrust.org or calling us on 01722 580 178.

Donations and Payment Terms 

5. I pledge to raise a minimum of �350 excluding Gift Aid and registration fee (purchased charity place only).

6. Pay a non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of �25 (purchased charity place only).

7. I will endeavour to raise as much as possible for the Trussell Trust and will regularly pay all money collected to the charity by:

- Using a fundraising website such as Enthuse (page automatically created on sign up) or JustGiving.
- Bank cash sponsorship and make a payment directly onto your fundraising page using a credit or debit card. 
- Send a cheque to The Trussell Trust, Unit 9, Ashfield Trading Estate, Salisbury, SP2 7HL.
- Calling the Supporter Care Team between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm to make a payment over the phone by calling 01722 580180.

8. I will send all outstanding sponsorship money to the Trussell Trust by 6 weeks after the event.

Fundraising activities
	
9. I will comply with any fundraising guidance or advice issues by the Trussell Trust.

10. I will use the Trussell Trust's fundraising materials to fundraise for this event and will return any unused materials on completion of the event.

11. I will only use lawful means to fundraise and will not do anything that is likely to harm the Trussell Trust's reputation.

12. I will make donors aware of what happens to their donations if I fail to complete the event.

13. I will abide by the Code of Fundraising Practice issued by the Fundraising Regulator.

Sponsorship not conditional

14. I agree that my sponsorship forms will make it clear that the money is not given subject to any conditions and that the monies will not be returned if the event is cancelled, or I do not complete the event.

15. If the Trussell Trust is paying any of the event costs, I will make this clear to sponsors.

Personal data and images

16. I give permission for my personal information to be stored and used by the Trussell Trust in connection with the organisation, promotion and administration of the Event.

17. I confirm that I will be at least 18 years old on the date of the event and I hereby accept these terms and conditions.
